Open the page for the call you need. Each page stands on its own.
Sandbox Kit is one client for the sandbox provider you pass in. Install the core package and that provider's package. An agent uses the client to open a sandbox and control how long it runs.
Open the page that matches the call. You do not need the other pages first.
| You want to | Open |
|---|---|
| Install a provider and create a sandbox | Daytona or Modal |
| Set auth, a timeout, a region, or an app | Configure the client |
| Choose an image, a size, or a lifetime | Create a sandbox |
| Open a sandbox you already have, or finish it | Manage a sandbox |
| Work with files inside the sandbox | Use files |
| Branch on a failed call | Read an error |
| Copy a runnable project | Examples |
Code samples have a TypeScript tab and a Go tab. The choice is saved in this browser.
TypeScript needs Node.js 20, 22, or 24.15+. Go needs Go 1.26.0 or later.
Closing the client leaves the sandbox running
client.close() and Client.Close release the connection in your process.
The sandbox keeps running. Finish it from Manage a sandbox,
or set a lifetime when you create it.
A client that constructs successfully has not checked your credentials. The provider checks them on the first request.
